Root Canal Treatment
Root Canal Treatment
At Dental Centre Bournemouth, we remain at the forefront of modern dental care.
Our practice employs advanced technology and techniques to ensure the highest standard of root canal treatment. Using surgical loupes with fibre-optic lighting and an operating microscope, we achieve superior illumination and magnification. This allows us to precisely locate calcified canals that might otherwise be difficult to find.
These tools also increase the success rate of retreatment cases, including those complicated by broken instruments, separated posts, or perforations—issues that once required less predictable surgical procedures.
When surgical endodontics is necessary, enhanced visualisation through magnification and illumination enables our team to perform procedures more efficiently and with greater precision, increasing the chances of a successful outcome.

How Does Root Canal Treatment Work?
Root canal treatment is a specialized procedure aimed at saving teeth that have damaged or infected pulp. The process involves carefully removing the infected tissue inside the tooth, thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting the root canals, and then sealing them with a durable filling to prevent any future infection. This treatment not only prevents further decay but also provides rapid pain relief.
At Pro Dental Clinic, your comfort is our priority. Whether you’re experiencing dental pain or feeling nervous about the procedure, our compassionate team is here to support you, making sure you feel relaxed and well-informed every step of the way.
